Rafael Guizar
(1955)

He studied architecture but left the University, to become a painter full time before getting his degree. During his studies, though, he learned the techniques of oil, watercolor, pastel, ink and mural, which he perfected by himself as he gained experience. His popularity surged during the 80's when he started painting on the streets and sidewalks of Mexico City's historic downtown area.
