Miriam Medrez
(1958)

Born in Mexico City on October 15th, 1958. Her formal art education started in Montreal, Canada in 1977 when she studied Graphic Design and Fine Arts at Concordia University. She also studied Visual Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. She has exhibited widely in Mexico and the US since 1981 and has been awarded several honors by institutions like Vitro and the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes.
