Born on August 26 in Paris France. Daniel Louis Derveaux was the son of Louis Philippe Joseph Derveaux, a sculptor and decorator and Marie Sainte Quinton. He was a prolific draughtsman and engraver who started his craft in 1933. He enlisted in the military in 1936 but was taken prisoner from 1939 and released in 1941. After that date he lived in St. Malo where he lived until his death on November 14th, 2010. He is survived by his wife Renée Moigne and three children.
